Training
The center for vocational training at VITEH EOOD was founded on December 8, 2003. The operation of the center is in accordance with the Vocational Education and Training Act (VETA) and the license for providing and certification of vocational training. The center for vocational training at VITEH EOOD is licensed by the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training (NAVET) - license number 200412193.
The main goal of the center is to increase the human resources quality of employment through mastering of contemporary professional skills, knowledge and good practices. The principal tasks of the center are providing and cerifying vocational training according to programs developed in compliance with the Vocational Education and Training Act for obtaining first and seocnd degree of professional qualification in the following areas with their respective professions and specialties:
1.“Business management and administration”
Profession: “Computer operator”, Specialty: ”Word processing”
2.”Electronics and Power engineering”
Profession: “Stoker”, Specialty: “Stoking”
3.”Manufacture of textile, garments, shoes, and leather goods
Profession: “Dressmaker”, Specialty: ”Dressmaking”
4.”Hotel and restaurant operations, and catering”
Profession: ”Cook”, Specialty: ”Manufacture of culinary goods and beverages”
5.”Hotel and restaurant operations, and catering”
Profession: ”Server - Bartender”, Specialty: ”Serving for catering establishments”
6."Hairstyling and cosmetic services”
Profession: “Hairstylist”, Specialty: ”Ladies' hairstyling” and Specialty: ”Men's hairstyling”
7. "Hairstyling and cosmetic services”
Profession: “Cosmetician”, Specialty: “Cosmetician”
Courses in other professions and specialties are offered at the center as per specific requests by candidates or employers.
The General manager of VITEH EOOD is responsible for the overall management of the vocational training center. The Manager of the center is responsible for its daily activities. There is an Educational department and Administrative and Financial department as well.
The Educational department is responsible for the implementation of the educational, methodical, and organizational preparation of the vocational training courses in accordance with educational plans and programs prepared by teams of academic instructors in compliance with the Vocational Education and Training Act and endorsed by the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training (NAVET).
The training is delivered in different formats: Day, Evening, or Part-time classes or individual trainig. Those successful in the training receive standard Certificate for Vocational Training - a form established by the applicable law.
